Hi Ginger,

I would suggest that your little girl be evaluated by a board certified pediatric gastroenterologist, i.e someone who specializes in a child's stomach and intestines (if you haven't already). He or she may want to perform an endoscopy of your daughter's GI tract. An endoscopy involves placing a camera at the end of a long, skinny "hose" which visualizes the inside of the bowels, and helps determine if everything is okay. Your daughter would need to be partially asleep for this procedure. I hope that helps.

Dr. Mike
