Yes, there are definitely a lot of kids out there who eat like
"birds"...some like sparrows, and still others like vultures.
A 2
1/2 year old boy should weigh approximately 26-34 pounds, and be as tall
as 34-37 inches. So, if your little guy is in the ballpark, he must be
taking in enough to gain weight and grow.
I
don't think I have the magic answer in how to make children eat and/or
eat healthy, but I have a few suggestions (which you may already be
doing):
-
Try and limit the phrase "one more for daddy",
"one more for mommy", etc. He should eat because he is hungry, not
because he is trying to please you
-
Stop, or at least limit, any caffeine
containing beverages (tea, soda, etc.)
Like I said, I don't have the magic answer, but I hope your little bird
