30 times??? Wow, that's a lot.
It sounds like you are very worried about him.
Daycare has a way of spreading
more bugs around, and therefore kids get sick more.
I don't know if I can give you
anymore advice that you have probably received already, but I will try.
-
Try a humidifier or
vaporizer (which helps to moisten the air)
-
Do NOT allow anyone to
smoke in your house or around your baby
-
Use a mattress cover over
his mattress
-
Remove all stuffed animals
and pillows from your baby's bed
-
Minimize any dust in the
house and your baby's room
I would also be interested in
knowing the following:
-
Have you taken him to see
the same doctor every time, or have you seen different ones?
-
Has he been tested or
treated for Pertussis or whooping cough?
-
Did he have an chest xray
and is it otherwise normal?
A second opinion from a
physician that will see and examine your baby may be the best thing for
you and your baby. At least you can hear another standpoint that may
help you.
Good luck. Dr. Mike
Thank you for your advice. I finally took him to another doctor who put
him on a breathing machine. He had inflammation of the lungs and they
are treating it like asthma.
You are very welcome.
